A man had to be taken to hospital last night after being stabbed in Redruth town centre.
Police were called after the man was found with a stab wound, with the incident taking place at around 9.10pm on Tuesday (January 12).
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were now investigating after a man in his 30s was assaulted in in an alley off Fore Street.
The spokesperson said: "A man from Redruth was treated in hospital for a stab wound following the incident which occurred sometime around 9.10pm.
"He has since been discharged from hospital and the injuries are described as minor."
