Salisbury City Council’s Sunday Festive Markets are making a return to Salisbury Market Place this year.

The Markets will be open every Sunday from Sunday December 6 until Sunday December 20, 10am until 4pm.

Traders will sell gifts for Christmas as well as food. The event will feature more than 40 stalls.

Leader of the City Council, Cllr Liz Sirman, said: “I am looking forward to picking up some fantastic gift items at the Sunday Festive Markets. With the unfortunate cancellation of the Christmas Fair, the weekly markets will give people the opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and do some festive shopping and importantly support local traders during this tough time.”

Members of the public are being urged to respect social distancing when visiting the markets and come back at a later time if a particular stall they are wishing to visit appears busy.
