Primary school students have created a wall of poppies from recycled plastic bottle.

Burnham Primary School and Treetops Pre-school students created the wall to raise money for the 2020 poppy appeal.

The children hand painted the recycled plastic bottles and donated money to display them on the school gates.

So far they have raised over £125.

Burnham Primary School PTA, led by Ceilidh Embling, Emma Hatton and Sarah Robison and their team of members thought it would give the children something positive to create whilst helping raise funds for the appeal which has struggled due to the pandemic.

Rhiannon Dyson and Terri Ewer from Treetops Pre-school asked to team up as their pre-school is located next to our school.

The team said: "We think the wall looks amazing and it has given the children and families a little buzz in an otherwise flat time."
