A cyclist was seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Addlestone last night (Monday, November 2).
The crash took place on Station Road in Addlestone just before 9pm, Surrey Police, investigating, said.
The car involved in the crash stopped at the scene, and police set up a cordon with road closures in the area as they responded to the incident.
They said the cyclist involved, a man (no further details provided) was seriously injured in the crash.
"We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a car and a cyclist on Station Road, Addlestone.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
"Anyone with any information should contact Surrey Police quoting reference number PR/P20255146," a spokesperson for Surrey Police said in a statement published Monday night.
