A jackknifed truck has partially blocked the A27 causing slow traffic near Polegate
THERE is slow traffic on a busy road due to a jackknifed truck.
The incident has happened on the A27 near Drusillas Park and is causing delays on the Polegate Bypass, the AA has reported.
A spokesman for the traffic service said: “The road is partially blocked and there is queueing traffic due to a jackknifed truck on the A27 both ways from Brown Jack Avenue to Station Road (at the Drusilla’s Roundabout).
“This is affecting traffic between Beddingham and Polegate.”
He warned drivers travelling on the A27 eastbound from Polegate to expect delays of more than eight minutes.
