An investigation is underway after firefighters were called to a blaze at a eight-storey apartment block this morning (September 01).
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Wadbrook Street at around 10.08 am.
Part of a five-roomed flat on the fifth floor was damaged by the fire.
It was reported that one man had left the property before the Brigade arrived.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: "The Brigade was called at 10.08 am and the fire was under control by 11.05 am.
"Fire crews from Kingston, New Malden and Twickenham fire stations were at the scene.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"There were no reports of any injuries."
