A 35-year-old locksmith from Belmont has been supporting businesses throughout the pandemic.

Glen Daley decided to launch a website and Facebook page to support service providers in need of advertisement after becoming bored during the outbreak.

Complete Business link U.K, allows small businesses, local people, and friends to connect 'within a trusted community.'

The site asks for a small £5 fee per week, which offers space on a joint website, google promotions and social media advertisement.

Since lockdown, over 500 people have joined the Facebook page with 35 businesses signing up for promotion.

20% of all membership fees will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.

Glen Daley, of Grd locksmiths in Sutton, said: "My company was fine during lockdown but due to being on the vulnerable list I had to be at home.

"I became bored, so I looked for something to do and created Complete Business link UK.

"We donate 20% of all our membership fees to the British heart foundation.

"The platform is a great place to promote yourself to local people- whilst raising money for a good cause.

"There will be a free raffle once a year with all business members and the winner will win £1000 to donate to a charity of their choice."
