THIS week's winner of The Mail's Bouquet is a dedicated carer, a loving mum and nanna of 10.

Joan Barnet, 67, of Oxford Street, Barrow, has been nominated by her daughter Cheryl Clark for going above and beyond to provide care for those who are vulnerable and always going the extra mile to make people smile.

Cheryl Clark, 34, of Schneider Road, Barrow, said: "My mam has been a carer for more than 15 years and absolutely loves what she does.

"There is nothing else more rewarding to her than caring for the vulnerable and putting a smile on other people’s faces.

"She is a mum of four and has been our rock through good and bad times.

"She will do anything for anyone and has a heart of gold. We couldn’t imagine life without her.

"Our mum has always put other people first before herself, so caring for others comes naturally to her.

"I feel she deserves to be shown how much we appreciate everything she does for us.

Describing her doting mum, Cheryl said that Joan was 'selfless and caring with such a generous and loving nature'.

She said: "She is a fabulous mother and nanna to 10 grandchildren. We would be lost without her.

"She deserves to be shown how much we all grateful for everything she has done for us and for being a brilliant mum, Nanna, friend and carer."

Do you know someone who deserves to be publicly recognised for the amazing stuff that they do?
