A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a 24-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash yesterday. 

Police were called to reports of a traffic collision involving a man and motorcycle on Wrythe Lane at around 11.12 pm, on August 5.

Emergency services attended the scene to find the motorcyclist suffering from injuries.

LAS rushed the victim to hospital where he later died.

His family have been informed.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: "Police were called to Wrythe Lane following reports of a road traffic collision.

"The driver of the van, believed to be aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving.

"He remains in custody.

"Enquiries continue, led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit."
