The family of a man murdered in broad daylight in Crayford on Friday (June 19) have said their “hearts are broken” over his death, and have implored any eye witnesses to come forward and speak to police.

The victim of the assault has now been formally identified as 41-year-old Wayne Hoskyns, a ‘family man’ from Crayford and the father to five children.

Wayne was found unresponsive following an assault around 4:20pm on The Parade in Crayford, Bexley on June 19, and died in hospital the following day.

His family described him as a “much loved father, son, brother and uncle,” and say they are “devastated by this senseless crime and loss of a young life.”
