Dramatic images and video have emerged of an explosion and fire at an oil processing site in Erith this morning (June 19).
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters are on the scene of the blaze at an industrial unity on Church Manorway.
It is understood the fire is on the ADM oilseed processing site, though some have suggested it is at the neighbouring Edible Oils site.
London Fire Brigade was first called to the scene at around 9.15am to reports of a building on fire.

As of 11.30am, the fire was still being tackled by six engines.
Fire crews from Erith, Wennington, Bexley, Plumstead and East Greenwich fire stations.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
An air ambulance was pictured flying over the site, with reports of a second also having attended.
London Fire Brigade reported three people have been taken to hospital with injuries.
