A skip lorry crashed into a railway bridge and shut down the road in the afternoon.
Firefighters from Northolt fire station and police were called to reports of a lorry driving into a bridge on the station approach at Long Drive, South Ruislip today (May 28) at around 12.30pm.
The skip lorry had crashed into the bridge and caused some damage to its rim.

Road closures were put in place while firefighters decreased the pressure of the tyres to move the lorry out of the way.
The road was cleared by 1.28pm and no injuries were reported.
Metropolitan Police say that Highways were called to deal with any damage after.
