An arts charity has invited artists and residents to create hearts from clay to be installed around Sutton hospitals.
Team Imagineers say the commemorative art installations have been set up to 'honour the heroism' of key workers during the pandemic.
The arts charity decided to set up the project to support community interaction during lockdown.
So far, a coronavirus ward in St Helier Hospital has received the gesture, with Royal Marsden expected to install one soon.
Artists, Hana Horack, Adrienne Roberts, Claire Chandler, Fay De Winter, Emma Fenelon and Anna Potternomad have been working within their communities to create the beautiful clay art, which is sponsored by 'Potclays'.
A spokesperson for Team Imagineers, said: "We aim to honour the heroism and sacrifice of key workers and everyone who has had to stay at home around the country.
"Since being isolated it has been very important to maintain a sense of connection to others.
"Art supports our wellbeing and the works symbolise unity and love and commemorate our everyday heroes- a beautiful way of sharing despite isolation."
Team Imagineers have also been celebrating health heroes through Facebook Live dance sessions which take place every Thursday.
