Police have released an image after a bus driver was spat at by a passenger who refused to pay his fare.
At around 12.30am on March 21, three men and a woman boarded a 68 bus travelling towards Camberwell on Walworth Road.
The group refused to pay when asked, and began to argue with the bus driver.
During this encounter, one of the men approached the driver at spat at him through the holes in the driver’s divide.
The group then exited the bus.
Officers are asking that anyone who recognises the suspect to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quoting CRIS 3009008/20.
Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
