A sculpture has been stolen from Chesham Bois Manor.

There was a post on OurChesham, following the incident which happened over the weekend of March 28 and 29, it said: “Our flying bird sculpture has gone missing from his perch in our garden.

"We understand that many people are facing desperate times financially, which can lead to unkind behaviour, but stealing a much loved ‘pet’ from a home of venerable people is a real low blow.

"We are currently socially isolated too. Our garden is our little patch of freedom, and visiting our bird to watch his wings flap in the breeze is part of our daily routine.
