Fire crews are on the scene and police have blocked parts of the A22 and A26
A LORRY carrying chemicals spilled its load across a road.
Police and fire crews blocked several roads after the incident on the A22 near Maresfield at about 9.15am today.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “Cordons were put in place and a specialist company contacted to help with the clear up.
“As of 11.30am there were two fires engines and a specialist Technical Rescue Unit at the scene.
“There are no reports of injuries, please avoid the area.”
