A SUSPECTED arsonist was arrested in connection with two fires.
Police were called to a deliberate fire outside Camilla’s bookshop in Eastbourne.
It started at 11.30pm on Wednesday, March 26, and is being linked to another fire at Ivy Terrace on March 23, where a bin was set alight.
Officers investigating say a 44-year-old Eastbourne man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of arson with intent to endanger life.
He has been released on conditional bail until Thursday, April 23 while enquiries continue.
