The number of Government-confirmed coronavirus cases in South West London has risen to 449.

Released daily by the Government and Public Health England, the latest Covid-19 statistics, accurate as of 9am on Sunday, March 22, show there are now 5,683 cases in the UK.

There have also been 281 recorded deaths.

Borough by borough, Lambeth has the most cases in South West London with 127, while Wandsworth has 110. Both boroughs rank in the top ten nation wide for most cases.

Croydon has 84 confirmed cases of Covid-19, Merton has reported 56 while Richmond, Sutton and Kingston have 25, 24 and 23 respectively.

Elsewhere in the capital, Southwark has 139 and Westminster has 117.

Public Health England are not disclosing specific details about individual cases.
