Friends of a Barnes man who died after being stabbed in an "unprovoked attack" in Kingston, have set up a GoFundMe page in his honour.

Archie Beston's family described the 19-year-old as being a 'loved and happy family boy' who 'wanted to travel the world.'

He was attacked in Wood Street, Kingston, on February 28, and was left in a critical condition for several days before he died from his injuries on Friday, March 6.

Friends and wellwishers have paid tribute to Archie via the funding page.

One message read: "Archie, although cut short by the unforgiving world, was not a life spent in vain.

"In just 19 years, he had immensely positive impacts on more people than most would in their entire lifetime!

"I feel blessed to have met someone that is a perfect example of how a friend and how family should be.

"Your family should be proud of raising such a sweet, funny, adoring & admirable man... Love you Archie - Liam"
