Two men have been arrested following a brawl outside a Wallington pub last week.

An onlooker, who wished to remain anonymous described the scene on Friday night at the Whispering Moon in Ross Parade.

"No weekend is complete without the police being called to the Whispering Moon in Wallington," they said.

"This usually happens around midnight on a Saturday, but this weekend got off to a flying start at 9pm on Friday.

"A young man minus his shirt, was seen posturing in the road and putting his fists up to fight.

"He ran into the pub several times and appeared to be dragged out by his friends.

"First a single police car arrived, then two more. Then three police vans, followed by an ambulance. What a lovely way to spend a Friday evening, in a friendly public house."
