The Transform Leatherhead regeneration project are holding regular question and answer sessions made available to residents as weekly videos, Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) have said.

Every week from February 24, a new video shows the Transform Leatherhead team respond to one of the project’s most frequently asked questions (FAQs).

The videos are uploaded and made available for residents on the Transform Leatherhead website, a spokesperson said.

Councillor Keira Vyvyan-Robinson, Cabinet Member for Projects, described the virtual Q&A as a “great” tool for connecting with more residents about the ongoing regeneration.

“The TL in Conversation events proved a great way to reach new audiences within the community. We received many questions about the progress of the Transform Leatherhead Masterplan and are delighted to be able to answer some of those questions in our virtual Q&A,” she said.

The Swan Centre, the Riverside Park and issues around transport would be some of the topics covered in the upcoming videos, Cllr Vyvyan-Robinson added.

Transform Leatherhead sees MVDC collaborate with central government, businesses, investors and the Environment Agency to regenerate the town through a number of new developments that project leaders say will revitalize Leatherhead’s economy and transport links for the future.
