Commuters heading to Southwark Station are being advised to check before travelling because there is a burst water main outside of the station.
Firefighters are currently at the scene and the station has been closed along with some road closures.
A statement posted online by the London Fire Brigade said: "Southwark tube station is closed and road closures are in place which is having a significant impact on local traffic.
"Crews will remain on the scene throughout the morning"
Commuters are advised to check before travelling or to go to London Bridge Station or London Waterloo Station to access the Jubilee Line.
