Police are hunting for a balaclava-wearing man after a teenager was stabbed and had a noxious substance thrown over him in a brutal attack at a McDonald's.
The 19-year-old victim was attacked inside the branch on New Road on Friday, December 20, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Kent Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward, and have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have important information about the assault.
Officers were called just to the Gravesend McDonald's just after 11pm on the Friday before Christmas, and found a 19-year-old man suffering from an injury consistent with being stabbed.
He is also reported to have had an unknown noxious substance thrown at him, and was treated at the scene before being taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.
An 18-year-old man from Dartford was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The suspect was later released under investigation, and the victim has since been discharged from hospital.
Officers have previously appealed for information about the incident and are now releasing a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify.
He was wearing tight-fitting navy blue and grey trousers, with the word 'AIR' written down the side in white lettering.
