Conservative Stephen Hammond has been elected as the MP for Wimbledon after he won the seat with 38.4 per cent of the vote and a small majority of 628.
It was declared early on Friday morning that Hammond will return as Conservative MP for the constituency after he received 20,373 votes.
Lib Dem candidate Paul Kohler, came in at second place on election night, receiving 19,745 votes - more than 12,000 extra votes than the Lib Dems secured in 2017.
This was followed by Labour candidate Jackie Schneider in third place with 12,543 votes, and independent Graham Hadley in fourth with 366.
Turnout was 77.7 per cent.
