Labour's Fleur Anderson has been elected as the MP for Putney after she won the seat with 45 per cent of the votes and a majority of 4,774.
It was declared shortly before 2am on Friday morning that Anderson will become the new MP for the constituency after she received 22,780 votes.
The Conservative candidate, Will Sweet, came in at second place on election night, receiving 18,006 votes.
He was followed by Lib Dem Sue Wixley in third place with 8,548 votes, and Fergal McEntee of the Green Party in fourth with 1,133.
The turnout was 77 per cent, up around 5 per cent from 2015.
The result means Labour claims the seat after Conservative Justine Greening stood down in the run up to the election and is the first Labour win in the seat since 2001.
