A pensioner is in critical condition the day after being hit by a bus in Croydon.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service just after 4.30pm on Monday to reports of a crash between a bus and a pedestrian in George Street.
The male pedestrian, aged in his 80s, was taken to hospital with "potentially life-threatening injuries".
Police have this morning said the pedestrian remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
