Police investigating an early morning fight in Romford found the suspected victim suffering stab injuries in an Erith car park.

Officers were called to Dudley Road shortly before 5am this morning to reports of an incident.

After carrying out enquiries, they found the suspected victim, a man in his 30s, nearly 20 miles away in a car park on James Watt Way, suffering stab wounds and a head injury.

He was rushed to a south London hospital, where his injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made, as enquiries continue.
