The Ashley Centre in Epsom are hosting a big festive gathering for their Christmas Lights Switch On this Saturday (November 23).

Free entertainment kicks of at midday at the Epsom shopping centre, building up to the big Switch On itself around 5pm.

Ahead of the big day, Centre Manager David Beddows described a host of activities and wonders the Centre are putting on for the 2019 event.

"This year there will be stilt walkers, comedy, face painters, balloon modellers, roaming entertainers and more," Mr Beddows said.

"The lights switch on show will start at 5pm by Café Moka and H&M with stars from the Epsom Playhouse pantomime Peter Pan, Ashley Bear and Father Christmas all making an appearance.

"After the show visitors can meet the cast and Father Christmas who will be greeting everyone outside House of Fraser, New Look and The Works.

"We are very excited to be unveiling our brand new decorations this year which are sure to delight visitors of all ages!" He added.
