An Epsom singer has landed her first big break of her career.

Hallie Kenzie is taking to the high seas as she becomes a singer onboard Marella Dream, part of the third largest fleet of cruise ships in the UK.

The former Stage Coach Epsom pupil, who was recruited by Yorkshire based Peel Entertainment in July, following hotly contested nationwide auditions, has just completed an intensive ten weeks of rehearsals.

Hallie said: “It’s been quite a journey but now I am incredibly excited to move to the ship and am looking forward to performing every day.

"I’m starring in several amazing shows but my favourite show has to be ‘Burlesque’ which Christina Aguilera previously made her own.”

She now joins the full onboard entertainment team, comprising 12 accomplished singers and dancers drawn from all over Europe, for the year-long tour onboard Dream, which sails from Palma, Majorca this week.

Marella Cruises Entertainment, famous for its West End style shows, has helped to launch many young people’s careers in the entertainment industry, not least Cleopatra Joseph and Joseph Fletcher, who are both currently starring in West End productions.
