Team Bromley celebrated with the Mayor after winning at the London Youth Games for the fourth year running.
More than 140 team participants, volunteer coaches and supports came together with the Mayor Nicholas Bennett for an evening at the Pavillion Leisure Centre on Friday hosted by team co-ordinator Mytime Active.
Bromley pipped Haringey to the Jubilee Trophy, the ultimate prize sought after by the 33 competing boroughs.
The evening played tribute to the talented young people who form team Bromley, recognising their own sporting successes and achievements which saw them winning 13 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
After nine months competition, 7,400 young Londoners descended on Crystal Palace National Sports Centre to compete in sports ranging from archery, swimming, football, netball, basketball, diving, indoor rowing and skateboarding.
Over 120 athletes from Blackheath and Bromley Harriers Athletics Club will officially start the 2020 Games in November with cross country at Parliament Hill.
