A man has died following a house fire in Battersea this afternoon.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called at 11.40am on Tuesday to the blaze in Tyneham Road.
The ground floor of the property was damaged by fire and sadly one man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire crews from Clapham, Battersea, Chelsea and West Norwood fire stations attended the scene and the fire was under control by 12.08pm
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
