Several residents in the Addlestone and Weybridge area reported hearing a "loud explosion" as firefighters battle a blaze in Addlestone.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it is on the scene of a fire at Sayes Court Farm Kennels, off Liberty Lane.
Members of the public have been warned to stay away from the area due to the presence of asbestos and butane gas cylinders at the scene.

Fire crews have been on the scene since at least 2pm this afternoon (September 28), with teams from all over Surrey assisting.
It is understood the explosion may have been caused by at least one of the gas cylinders exploding.
A Surrey Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed that no animals are at the site as it is currently under construction.
