Southern and Gatwick Express railway passengers should expect a slower train service until 8pm thanks to a fire alarm activation and a points failure at London Victoria.
Network Rail have confirmed that services at London Victoria could be delayed, cancelled or diverted due to the technical fault which took place a 5:26pm.
This resulted in a reduced number of lines being available to trains and congestion.
Passengers are also advised to check before travelling and to leave plenty of time for all essential journeys.
Trains at London Victoria, Battersea Park, Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common and Balham could depart from different platforms.
And, some services may be diverted to London Bridge or will have to terminate and begin at a station outside of London.
Customers will also be able to use their tickets on Southern and Thameslink services to London Bridge.
