Police in Kingston have been praised after carrying out a stop and search.
Taking to Twitter to share the news, officers from the Groves ward said: "Stopped and searched a 17 year old male.
"He was found in possession of this lock knife.
"Arrested and charged for the offence." This was met with applause.
"Well done. Stop and search works," one reply read.
"Great work, he should go straight to prison," another read.
Even the Met's leader of the South West Command Unit, Sally Benatar, chimed in.
"Well done @MPSGrove," it read.
"Keep up the good work. Another knife off the streets."
