Kingston is gearing up for Halloween with an immersive and spooky new ghost story experience.

The Silent Ghost Story will feature live performances and a heady brew of atmospheric lighting and audio, and is being run by business improvement group Kingston First.

A spokesperson said the event would take attendees on a tour through Kingston hidden history, myths and legends — plus a slice of some of the town's more grisly past in the spirit of Halloween.

"This immersive experience dares you to discover the ancient market town’s local myths and legends, as well as some gruesome historic happenings.

"The story is being told all around you, the question is, do you dare to listen?"

Further, the Silent Ghost Story will require some detective work from participants as they hunt to uncover clues and solve mysteries in the marketplace relating to Kingston's surprising and frequently shocking history.

Kelly Bliss, Head of Marketing and Communications at Kingston First said the night would "come alive" at the event.

"Kingston upon Thames is ready to come alive at night this October, as we offer yet another exciting event for residents and visitors.

"The Silent Ghost Story is a unique immersive event brand new to South West London, so be sure not to miss out on three thrilling nights of Halloween fun!" She said.

The Silent Ghost Story will take place across three of the most haunted evenings of the year, 30th, 31st and 1st November.

Tickets are priced at £12 (plus a booking fee) per person and are for an 18+ audience.
