Residents of Dartford have been asked to voice their opinions as plans to build 36 new council homes enters it's third phase.

The proposals, put forward by Dartford Council, aim to build a mix of houses, bungalows and flats within four residential streets located across the borough.

The highest concentration of these new homes, which according to council plans will all be social rented properties, are being proposed for Gilbert Close in which fourteen new flats and two new houses are to be constructed.

A mixture of seven family-sized houses and flats are proposed for Milton Road while six two/one-bedroom apartments are projected for Keary Road.

Finally, residents are encouraged to have their say on the redevelopment of a former Council depot in Mead Crescent to construct three one-bedroom bungalows, each with private garden space.

Dartford Council have now opened their latest round of consultations with residents asked to voice their concerns about the individual projects before the deadline set for September 6.

Feedback, concerns and suggestions can be lodged through the Council's website here.
