The Met Office has issued a weather warning for heavy rain.
Parts of the UK hit 38C recently but it's time to say goodbye to the nicer weather as the rain comes in.
The yellow weather warning has been issued over most of London and should be coming in on Friday.
Once the rain has cleared scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop, just in time for the weekend.
Many places will miss these, but where they do occur 10-20 mm is possible in one hour, with perhaps 30 mm in a few hours.
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
And where here flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
