Surrey Police won hearts online yesterday (Thursday, August 1) after posting a video from their officers dancing at Brighton Pride last year.
The post was helping promote the upcoming Surrey Pride 2019 event, which is taking place next Saturday (August 10) in Woking.
Hundreds of social media users hit the like button to show their support for the video, which featured two Surrey Police officers showing off some accomplished dance moves to Shania Twain while in attendance at Brighton Pride 2018.
"Next week, for the first time ever, Pride is coming to Surrey! For more about the event, which will be held on 10 August in Woking, head to the website: http://prideinsurrey.org/ ," a spokesperson for Surrey Police said in the Facebook post.
Surrey Police are vocal supporters of the county's LGBT+ community and have dedicated Liason Officers that coordinate outreach with LGBT+ people in Surrey.
