Police in Kingston successfully caught drivers speeding near a school in town after receiving feedback from residents.
Announcing their successes on Twitter, Grove Ward Met Police (MPS) revealed that they had successfully caught three drivers who had been speeding in the area, which appeared to be close to the King Athlestan Primary school on Villiers Road in Kingston.

A spokesperson for Grove Ward MPS said:
"As a result to @MPSKingston online Q&A session our Roads and Transport Police Command conducted speed checks on Villiers Road.
"3 x traffic offence reports issued (speeding tickets) and a number of engagements/warnings with other drivers close to the mark."
The Question and Answer session was held by Kingston MPS one week ago on July 11, a received a multitude of responses from residents on the borough.
Last month (June 7) Kingston Council (RBK) announced a scheme to encourage drivers caught speeding to speak to children in the borough about its dangers.
The initiative is part of a new road danger reduction education scheme, Junior Roadwatch.
