Surrey Police launched an urgent information appeal to locate Victoria Smith from Addlestone, who went missing on Thursday (July 11).

Ms Smith, 55, was last seen by officers from Northamptonshire Police at Northampton station at around 12.20am on Thursday.

Police said she had been visiting a family member in Yorkshire, and left on Wednesday, July 10.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police offered a description of Ms Smith with their information appeal.

"She is described as white, around 5ft 1" tall, of a medium build, with brown eyes and mousey grey hair.

"She was last seen wearing a blue Tesco uniform jacket, a black t-shirt with a sheep on it, loose fitting black and white trousers and black ankle boots with fur around the top.

"She’s also believed to have been carrying a pink backpack," the spokesperson said.

They added a direct appeal to anyone who might know something about Victoria's whereabouts to contact police immediately.

"We are doing everything we can to find Victoria, but are appealing to anyone who may have seen her, or with any other information, to contact us as soon as possible," Surrey Police said.
