Victoria Underground station has been due to a casualty.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to the Underground station at 3.45pm today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics are also in attendance however sadly a person has been pronounced dead," a BTP spokeswoman said.
"The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
As a result, the Underground station has been closed.
Passengers have been advised that tickets are being accepted on local buses, Southeastern and South Western Railway
