Surrey Police released images of a man in an informational appeal after a woman was sexually assaulted in Reigate.

The assault took place just after midnight on April 28 in a car park in Church Street, Reigate.

An investigation is underway to identify and locate the suspect.

In a statement accompanying the release of the images, gleaned from CCTV footage in the area, Detective Sergeant Siobhan Parker of the Sexual Offences Investigation Team said that the man may have key information that could help them in their investigation into the attack.

"We are looking to identify this man as we hope he may have information that will help with our investigation. If you know who they are, please come forward and speak to us," DS Parker said.

She added that the police were grateful for the assistance already offered by members of the public and urged anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack to come forward.

DS Parker said: "We are grateful for the help the public have already given us with this investigation.

"We are still keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Church Street between 11.30pm on 27 April and 3am on 28 April."
