Dartford film fans have been told to "watch this space" after the council announced that their popular outdoor cinema summer event sold out hours after tickets were released this morning.
Plans for additional screenings for the Central Park series are now being strongly considered following the immense popularity as spaces were snatched up by eager residents.

The outdoor cinema will show three classic films, chosen to suit the whole family, including Mary Poppins Returns on August 14; Bedknobs and Broomsticks on August 28; and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again on September 4.
Although the event is free for all Dartford residents, those looking to nab tickets had to be early in order to secure them.
