The site of the crash, at the junction between The Crescent and Northcote Road
A motorcyclist in his 20s has died after he was involved in a crash with a van in Croydon.
Police were called shortly after 11am this morning to reports of a crash between a bike and van on The Crescent, at the junction with Northcote Road.
The London Ambulance and and Air Ambulance services attended, rushing the man to a south London hospital where he died.
Police are awaiting a formal identification of the body. No arrests have been made, as enquiries continue.
Local road closures remain in place.
