Police are hunting a man from Walton wanted in relation to an "extremely violent assault."

Surrey Police issued a public appeal for help in locating Kyle Labacik, 26, of Carlton Road, Walton-on-Thames, Wednesday morning (April 16).

In the public appeal published by police, Mr Labacik was being searched for "in relation to an extremely violent assault."

Surrey Police said:

"Labacik is known locally in Walton-on-Thames as ‘Chipmunk’ or ‘Chip’ and has links to Molesey, Weybridge and Surbiton.

"It is believed that he is using public transport.

"He is described as white, around 5ft 8 tall, of a large build, with dark brown, straight, short hair, and green eyes.

"He is also blind in his right eye."

In a warning to residents in the region, Surrey Police urged members of the public "not to approach Labacik under any circumstances," as he is believed to be dangerous.
