Surrey Police are appealing for help in their hunt for a man wanted on recall for a burglary in Epsom.

Jason Sufi, 39, is wanted in recall to prison for a burglary took place on Monday, April 1 at a property on Chessington Road, Epsom where in excess of £25,000 worth of jewellery and a number of other items were stolen.

Mr Sufi is also being hunted for seven other offences by other forces, including being an absconder from prison in February this year.

Surrey Police issued a statement describing Mr Sufi's appearance as they made a public appeal for help in the hunt for the wanted man

Surrey Police said:

"He's described as:

• White

• 5ft 6in tall

• Of medium build

• Has dark hair and an olive skin

"He was last seen wearing a long sleeved black top, black shorts and white socks and trainers."

The police statement warned that Mr Sufi could be violent and that members of the public should not go near him if he is sighted, but report to police instead.

Surrey Police said: "Sufi is described as violent and should not be approached.

"Any sightings of him should be reported to us straight away on 101 (999 in an emergency) and quote the reference number PR/45190033778 or tell us online via http://surrey.police.uk/TellUsMore"
