Surrey Police are hunting for a man following a public order incident at a fish and chip shop in Thames Ditton.
Surrey Police issued an appeal for information Friday (April 4) following the disorder, which occurred at a fish and chip shop on Portsmouth Road in Thames Ditton Wednesday evening (April 3).
At approximately 6pm, a man entered the shop before his behaviour escalated.
The man threatened to drive his vehicle through the shop front to deliberately injure people. He left before police officers arrived.
The man seen in the CCTV image released by Surrey Police is described as white male, 30 to 35-years-old, slim, approximately 5 ft. 6 inches tall, with a long beard. He was wearing a grey flat cap and grey jacket at the time of the incident.
PC Darrell Taylor, who is investigating the incident said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been near Portsmouth Road around the time the incident took place.
"If you recognise the who the man in the CCTV is, please call us as he may be able to assist with our enquiries."
