Surrey Police are appealing for information after a 19-year-old musician from Japan was reported missing.

Since January 19-year-old Sho Teshigawara from Japan has been on tour in the UK with his band Yamato Drummers.

Sho was last seen by his bandmates at G Live in Guildford around 2pm last Thursday (28 February).

The last confirmed sighting of Sho was at at Dorking train station around 6.30pm the same day. He is thought to have been planning to take the 6.37pm train to London Victoria.

In their appeal for information, Surrey Police said: "Sho speaks very little English and is not believed to have much money with him, and officers and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

"Sho was last seen wearing a dark jacket and green khaki trousers, and was carrying a blue rucksack."

The Yamato Drummers are next due to perform at the Peacock Theatre in Holborn from 12 March and there is a chance he may have been intending to travel there, Surrey Police said.
