CHOP chop, a new Chinese restaurant has opened in Bolton.
Oodles Chinese, in Derby Street, threw open its doors yesterday morning for a grand opening.
The restaurant offers fusion Indo-Chinese cuisine with customers able to choose their food based on a selection of saucy and dry dishes and sides, including certified Halal and vegetarian options.
Boasting a large seating area, as well as a delivery and collection service, Oodles cost £100,000 to kit out in an extensive transformation that has taken more than three months.
Oodles’ owner, Mohammed Umar, said: “It has been a long wait to open and we are finally here and ready to serve the community.
“This is the first Oodles restaurant in the North West and it is a flagship outlet.
“We looked around the area and saw there was no Halal Chinese restaurant, so that was our main reason for coming here. We think we have filled a void and that Bolton really needs it.
“Our food is Indo-Chinese with pan-Asian spices and flavours, and we cater to everyone’s tastes. Our food is all Halal, all fresh and it is different to anything else we have in Bolton.”
