Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a “terrifying” armed robbery at a post office in Banstead.
Surrey Police said two men threatened staff working at the post office on Woodmansterne Road with a handgun.
According to police reports, one of the men climbed over the till and stole cash at around 9.05pm on December 12.
One of the men is described as between 50 and 60 years, with grey hair and a distinctive C shape scar or mark on his forehead.
The second man is described as white but there is no further description as his face was concealed.
Temporary Detective Sergeant Tom Griffin said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the family who run the post office and store.
“We are appealing for help from the public to help us identify the man in the CCTV, as well as anyone else with any information which could progress our enquiries.”
